Pastor Chris Simon Amadi of Shalom Mercy Ministry has reportedly strangled his wife to death over non-payment of school fees.
It was gathered that the school – Solution International School, was established and owned by the now-deceased wife – Mrs Solution Amadi, before she got married to the pastor 9 years ago in 2012.
The ugly incident that lead to the death of the woman started when the pastor sent students who haven’t paid their school fees back home.
This infuriated their parents who called, complaining to the late Mrs. Solution Amadi.
She was said to have accosted her husband at home on why he would send those students back home, and this led to the pastor beating her.
The pastor was said to strangle her during the course of the beating and when he discovered that she was unresponsive, rushed her to a nearby clinic.
The clinic was said to refer them to UPTH, citing that she was already dead.
However, Pastor Chris Simon Amadi didn’t proceed to the hospital, but took her wife’s body back home where he covered her dead body with a wrapper, packed some of his belongings, then attempted to run away.
It was also gathered that it was not the first time incidence of domestic violence have been reported against the man, but the late wife would always choose to conceal and close the matter out of love and her position as a marriage counselor in the church, in order to set a good example to people.
