Schools, banks and other organizations in Anambra state observed the sit-at-home imposed by IPOB
Commercial hubs like Onitsha and Nnewi were like a ghost land due to the fear in the mind of residents.
A resident stated that even though the IPOB has stopped the sit-at-home, nobody wants to go out due to the fear of being attacked by unknown gunmen.
There were also claimed that the police who were meant to protect the defenseless citizens pulled off their uniforms and ran for their lives on some attacks by the unknown gunmen.
