Simon Ekpa announced on his Facebook page that the leadership of the Biafran struggle and Radio Biafra has been handed over to him, following the arrest and ongoing trial of the erstwhile leader Nnamdi Kanu
Here are some basic facts about Simon Ekpa, the new interim leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, and broadcaster at Radio Biafra.
Simon Ekpa was born on 21st March 1985 and currently 36 years of age. He is a native of Ngbo in the Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, in the Eastern part of Nigeria. He is a chief and the son of the late King Nwangbo (The Ogaba Idu of Ngbo clan).
He is well-grounded in law, been an LL.M (Master of Laws) holder, and legal researcher and advisor. He is also a human rights activist
Simon Ekpa is a citizen of Finland where is based in. He dabbled into politics in the Finnish land and is currently a deputy councilor.
