As Nigerians celebrate another Democracy Day today, June 12, multitudes of people took to the street to protest Buhari Must Go, asking the sitting president to vacate office!

The Nigerian Government has been at loggerhead with her citizens, especially the youth, who has been demanding a better administration. Ever since Buhari took power in 2015, the Nigerian economy has nosedived, hitting recession twice. The skyrocketing cost of living, unemployment, and galloping inflation has seen a large population of Nigerians below the poverty line

The Buhari Must Go Protest is also a result of the heightened state of insecurity in the country as killings and kidnapping from Fulani Herdsmen and Bokoharam have been the order of the day. The insecurity in the Eastern part of Nigeria has also worsened with the advent of the Eastern Security Network or ESN and the continual killing of policemen in the region.

In some of the video, multitude of Buhari must go protesters took to the streets, carrying a large wooden casket, depicting that Buhari has died since, and the person in charge is not Buhari!

In another video, tear gas and gun shots were used by the police to disperse the Buhari Must Go protesters.
