The former president of the United States of America used his authority on his last day in office to pardon about 100 people including Lil Wayne, Kodak Black, and his former campaign manager Steve Bannon.
Lil Wayne was arrested after he was caught with a gold-plated gun and other hard drugs.
The YMCMB Boss was a supporter of Donald Trump and the pardon was not a surprise as it has since been speculated. The rapper once tweeted:
“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done”
Kodak Black, who pleaded guilty on charges of possession of firearms and was serving time in the US Federal prison, was also pardoned by out-going Donald Trump.
