As the US presidential elections draw close and the presidential debate concluded, the question people ask is who won the debate? Though winning the debate doesn’t literally mean being the first to cross the finish line, it’s no doubt, a big pointer as it shapes the minds of voters on what to expect from their president-to-be.
Back to the topic. Most analysts conclude it was a draw, though they held the Biden still leads in virtual mock polls. However, the same was said when Trump was in collision with Hilary Clinton…and we know who emerged the winner.
The debate saw a very calm Trump, careful with words, and never cut into his opponent’s speech. He also seemed to have a head-on when Biden said he would phase out fossil fuels…maybe Americans are not just ready for that.
