The governor of Abia state, Okezie Ikpeazu revealed that his administration gives N500 to pregnant women who deliver in any of the state health centers.
The governor made this known during an interview, he stated that the state has played a vital role in supporting vulnerable members of the society.
In his words, he said;
“Delivery is free, they give you a delivery pack and N500, which is running for the vulnerable members of the society.”
Gov. Okezie Also claimed that the N500 will pay their transport back home from the hospital.
