The BTS Army becomes nine years old on July 9. (specifically, the official announcement of its name). Google has collaborated with the band to launch a new street view experiment through its Arts & Culture platform as Twitter marks its anniversary. Viewers may take a virtual tour of some of the group’s favorite works of art thanks to the BTS x Street Galleries show.
Each member has created a virtual gallery, with their choices shown in several well-known public spaces that are well-known to BTS fans. BTS spoke at the UN General Assembly last year and filmed a music video there. J-Hope decorated the building. RM shows fans around Namdaemun in Seoul, where BTS performed at the Global Citizen Live festival in 2021.
Some members of BTS are well-known collectors of fine art (such as the group’s leader RM, who recently spoke about his collection on the Art Basel podcast), but others haven’t yet been as outspoken about their preferences.
