The national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu has vowed not to back down from politics until he emerges as the president of Nigeria.
Tinubu who doubles as a presidential aspirant made this known while he was addressing some APC delegates in Benue State, ahead of the party’s primary election as he promises to “run a transparent, open government”.
In his words, he said;
“I won’t retire from politics until I am the president of Nigeria. I will bring the experience of my leadership in Lagos state as a Governor to bear on my leadership style in Nigeria.
“There’s no contest between me and whoever will emerge as the candidate of the opposition PDP.
“I guarantee you that I will run a transparent, open government. Nigeria is rich. What we need is to redirect our resources and channel them in the right direction.”
