The interview with Mel Gibson was halted when Fox News host Jesse Watters asked Gibson to respond to the scandal over Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Academy Award recently.
About 5 minutes into the conversation, which was aired shortly after Will Smith penned down from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science on Friday, Watters asked whT Mel Gibson thought would happen if he were to slap Chris Rock.
“I was wondering if, you know, you were the one who jumped out of your seat and slapped Chris Rock if you were treated the same way, Mel?” Watter questioned.
Will Smith slapped Chris Rock on stage after being mocked by a fellow entertainer, Comedian Chris Rock who hosted the award program.
