Tottenham Hotspur Secures Draw Against Monaco In Champions League

Last updated on December 9th, 2025 at 10:54 am

Tottenham Hotspur ended with a 0-0 draw in a Champions League game at the beautiful Stade Louis II against Monaco, courtesy of Guglielmo Vicario, their goalkeeper, great saves, and luck.

Tottenham Hotspur’s squad was only able to fire two shots on target and did not do much to scare the other side’s goalkeeper, leaving their fans disappointed as they displayed a non-challenging outcome.

The English team occupied a corner of the stadium with the hope of doing more, but could not change their fans’ mood.

The 0-0 draw makes it their first in their last 125 games. Their last goalless draw was recorded in 2023 against AC Milan.

The team also appreciated that they had shared a point in the match, though they had a few close calls, which did not stop fans from booing them after the end of the game.

Monaco took dominance of the game, but lots of their efforts were denied by goalkeeper Vicario, who kept creating saves for Tottenham. Vicario has been very active for the team, helping them to stay undefeated in their three Champions League games.

Vicario, who is an Italian professional goalkeeper, performed equally notably in their previous match against Bodo/Glimt which Tottenham recorded a great comeback.
