Following the nationwide backlash the management of Cracker Barrel received for changing the long-time logo of the countryside restaurant, the former has been restored. The restoration was announced on their social media page, where they thanked their customers for airing their opinion, which was a sign of their love for the brand. The statement continued that the management, following the brand's commitment to following what was best for customers, listened to the massive criticism the new logo received and is going back to using the old one. It urged them to continue showing up at their centers where their over 70,000 staff will be waiting to continue serving them the old American way. However, the statement did not say if the interior and aesthetics would be reverted to the former before the CEO embarked on the renovations and upgrades that started earlier in the year. With the U-turn, Cracker Barrel will hopefully maintain its current share price of $62.33 after it hit an intraweek low of $54.25 on Monday.
