What Does An Upside Down Cross Mean As Pope Francis Wears One

After Pope Francis was seen wearing an upside down cross or inverted crucifix, many have been asking what it really means, could be traced to the bible, or related to something satanic.

The upside-down cross does not have the crucified Jesus Christ on it and is largely shown in horror movies to showcase the power of the evil one and portray the helplessness of believers.

Hence it is mostly associated with the the demonic and antichrist trying to mock Jesus Christ.

So when the Catholic Popes, bishops, and those of higher authority in the religion are seen wearing upside down crosses, it is usually met with backlash and concerns of the church being infiltrated by the antichrist.

Recently, Pope Francis in a video was seen wearing an upside-down cross as he entered a plane amid a recent lingering respiratory tract infection which he is undergoing treatment.

What Does An Upside Down Cross Mean

An upside-down cross is said to have drawn its meaning and origin from the bible when Apostle Peter (now Saint Peter) chose to be crucified upside down – his head pointed down and his legs up, because he was not worthy to be crucified like Jesus Christ.

Following Saint Peter’s style of martyrdom and his position as the first rock and pope of the church, subsequent catholic popes have used the symbol of his upside-down cross as a sign of humility.

The inverted cross has now slipped from religious use into fashion with the advent of the upside down cross necklace worn by rappers and celebrities like Ice Spice upside down cross designed by New York jeweler Alex Moss which many claimed was linked to devil worship. Upside-down cross tattoos and emojis are also common.

Pope Francis’s inverted cross is said to be made of silver instead of the standard gold worn by other bishops. Though the 88-year-old Pontiff stands out for his humility and is a forerunner for the acceptance of LGBTQ in the church, the current catholic head has been linked to satanism and adrenochrome use.

Conclusion

In summary, the upside down cross and the inverted crucifix are both used as a reverence to Saint Peter’s humility and is also used by the antichrist and Satanism to mock the death of Jesus Christ.

The same applies to the word “Goat”, an animal used to refer to the evil ones in the bible but now used to describe someone who is the best in his career but under the covers, used in Devil worship to mock the lamb nature of Jesus Christ and his followers.
