Baltimore Ravens Guard Ben Cleveland was arrested by the police at night for driving under the influence, last Wednesday in Georgia.
Cleveland was pulled over when he failed to maintain his lane on a major road in Milledgeville, Georgia.
He was asked to come out of his car by the police and that was when Cleveland told the authorities that he had three to four beers before taking the road. However, he had them more than two hours ago which was why he decided to drive.
The police conducted a field sobriety test of Cleveland with his consent and also conducted a breathalyzer test. After the test, the police revealed that Cleveland’s Blood Alcohol Concentration was 1.78 compared to the legal limit of 0.8.
He was arrested and taken to the county jail where he was tested again.
Cleveland was booked for Driving under the influence and failure to maintain a single lane. His bail was set at $1000 and he was released the following morning.
This season has been less eventful for the guard who has spent four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. Cleveland is looking forward to be a free agent from next month.
