LaVar Ball, Father of the Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball, Bulls guard Lonzo Ball and former NBA player LiAngelo Ball recently got his foot amputated due to a serious medical issue.
Although neither the Big Baller Brand co-founder nor any of his family members have given any details about the medical issue, LaVar is said to be recovering well.
Ball Sr. has been his son’s biggest fan, hyping his sons and taking their media coverage seriously whenever he has the chance.
LaMelo, who is a well-known Hornets star, won the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2021, and he was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team that year.
He has been putting in his best this season but is currently out with an ankle injury.
London, who was the second overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2017, grabbed a $20 million contract extension with the Chicago Bulls in 2022. However, an almost career-ending knee injury has kept him on the sidelines for almost three years.
LaVar is expected to make a full recovery and maybe come back to enthusiastically cheering his sons as they progress in their careers.
