Monica Lewinsky, an advocate and former White House intern, has recently collaborated with the eco-conscious fashion label Reformation to unveil the “You’ve Got the Power” campaign.
This initiative is focused on inspiring women to exercise their voting rights in the upcoming 2024 presidential election and to showcase their self-assurance and fashion sense through Reformation’s workwear line.
Lewinsky is featured in the campaign, wearing various pieces from the collection, including blazers, skirts, and dresses. A handbag bearing her name is also part of the lineup. The range offers sizes from XS to XL and utilizes environmentally friendly materials.
In addition, Reformation has established a partnership with Vote.org, a non-profit dedicated to voter education and registration, pledging to contribute a portion of the sales from the “You’ve Got the Power” sweatshirt to the organization.
In her statement to Variety, Monica Lewinsky expressed her desire to motivate women to speak out through their votes and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with Reformation, a brand she respects for its commitment to values and design.
“Voting is always important, but the stakes are especially high this year with voter frustration and apathy threatening to meaningfully impact turnout. I’m excited and grateful to be working with Reformation to remind people to register, use their voice and vote!”
Reformation’s press release also talked about their decision to feature Monica Lewinsky as the campaign’s ambassador, citing her longstanding role as a changemaker and advocate for women’s empowerment.
“Monica’s been empowering women to use their voices and feel powerful for a long time, so it just makes sense that she’d help us do the same. And while great clothes won’t fix everything, putting them on and going to the polls is a pretty good place to start.”
