After becoming one of the most disliked reality TV stars in 2023, Tom Sandoval has quickly found himself in controversy early in the new year.
On Tuesday, the Vanderpump Rules star posted a series of images on his Instagram Stories, showcasing his interaction with a tiger at a zoo in Thailand.
Sandoval, previously involved in a scandal with co-star Rachel Leviss while in a long-term relationship with Ariana Madix, faced strong criticism online. Many social media users accused him of endorsing animal cruelty.
The comments section of Sandoval’s recent Instagram post was flooded with users expressing their disapproval of the TomTom owner.
Additionally, two of Sandoval’s Vanderpump Rules colleagues shared their opinions.
James Kennedy criticized Sandoval in the comments of a post on the fan account @PumpRules, featuring Sandoval’s video with the tiger.
Lala Kent also voiced her criticism on her Instagram Stories without explicitly mentioning Sandoval.
As of now, Sandoval has not addressed the backlash.
