American singer and actress Dolly Parton is celebrating another year with two song releases. This is in preparation for her forthcoming album.
“Hey fans and friends, it’s my birthday so I’m giving you a present,” Parton said in an Instagram post. The iconic country singer turned 78 on Jan. 19.
“I hope you enjoy them, and I hope you all have a happy birthday for me!” Dolly said on social media.
The songs are out on Apple Music, Spotify, and other music streaming and selling services.
The songs include four unreleased songs from her Rockstar album she released in 2023.
The additional tracks the newly deluxe album, “Rockstar (Deluxe)”, include “Rockin’ It (Live),” “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “Mama Never Said,” “Two Tickets To Paradise,” “Jolene (featuring Måneskin),” “Stay Out Of My Bedroom,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “The Entertainer,” and “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This).”
She first released Rockstar in May 2023 and said: ‘I’m so excited to finally present my first Rock and Roll album, Rockstar!
‘I am very honored and privileged to have worked with some of the greatest iconic singers and musicians of all time and to be able to sing all the iconic songs throughout the album was a joy beyond measure.
‘I hope everybody enjoys the album as much as I’ve enjoyed putting it together!” she added.
