Pope Francis received wide criticism after a video of him sitting and enjoying a circus-like show that had dancers, clowns, and performers wearing rainbow colors. Though the video is just surfacing now, it was actually recorded during a series of events that took place in the Vatican in 2020. Many found the show-off as going beyond norms to be "inclusive" and not to be Catholic-like, labeling it a disappointment to the church. I can only relate this scenario to the MD of a top international financial institution publicly showing a video of himself enjoying a strip show.
