Raheem Sterling was arguably the man of the match as Chelsea returned to winning ways, destroying Burnley 4-1 in their match on Saturday.
Burnley started the better of the two sides and got themselves in front after Wilson Odobert capitalized on poor defending and sent the ball into the far corner.
Sterling equalized with a deflected cross that found his way into the back of the net.
After the break, Chelsea got in front when Sterling was brought down in the penalty box and the referee pointed to the spot. Cole Palmer scored his first goal for the club since arriving from Manchester City.
The Blues got their third of the game when Sterling scored with a top finish.
In the 74th minute, Palmer found Nicolas Jackson inside the box before a turn and calm finish secured Chelsea’s fourth goal of the game.
Midfielder Conor Gallagher also impressed with his overall play.
Raheem was left out of England’s 23-man squad for the upcoming international games this week and many fans are sang that it is what caused him to play better.
The Blues striker has not been included on the squad for a while and we wonder if there is a silent beef between the player and the coach.
Although Chelsea is still struggling with consistency, Manager, Pochettino seems like he knows what he is doing. The squad will be facing tough opponents in the coming weeks so we hope for the best.
