Jerome Boateng Set To Return To Bayern Munich

Ex-Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng may be returning to the giant club soon, according to local football reports.

The former Bayern Munich defender is reportedly close to joining the defending Bundesliga champions after completing the final part of his physical.

According to Philipp Kessler, Boateng would join team practice at the Säbener Straße before joining the initial squad early the following week. 

Jerome Boateng played at Bayern Munich for eleven years, winning two Champions League titles, five DFB-Pokals, and nine Bundesliga championships.

It is not yet known if the 35-year-old will sign a deal for the remainder of the season or for a period of six months.

Thomas Tuchel’s team has been plagued with injuries, so, the team management have determined that Jerome would be of service to the team. 

Additionally, it is anticipated that Tarek Buchmann will be out for the following few weeks due to a muscular issue.
