Emerson got a straight red card in the 62nd minute, after planting his studs on Martinelli’s ankle while trying to help his defense.
five minutes later, Xhaka made it three for the home team, after Martinelli came from the left to chip a quiet ball in for Xhaka to fire home.
Emerson’s red card surely changed the dynamic of the game and Arsenal took all three points at the end of 90 minutes to go to the top of the table.
