Zack Estrin, whose popular works include Prison Break, and Lost in Space died on Friday, 23rd of September, 2022 in Hermosa Beach, Calif.
No statement has been released and nobody knows the probable cause of his death, as he was only 51 years of age.
Estrin started with intriguing tv shows like, Charmed, Dawson’s Creek and Tru Calling, before rising through the ranks to serve as co-executive producer of Fox’s Prison Break.
He was also the showrunner and producer of ABC paranormal thrillers, The River and The Whispers. He also did a few other films.
A statement made by the Estrin family, while announcing the death declarations read:
“Our everything. The best husband, father, son, and friend. He loved to make everyone happy,” Estrin’s family said. “He loved to make everyone laugh. He loved being a writer-producer and being a part of creating these shows that people enjoyed. But above all, he loved his family and friends. Thank you all for being a part of his life and ours.”
Ari Greenburg, WME President stated:
“Zack was our client for nearly 25 years. He had a tremendously successful career and mentored so many writers. We are so proud of all his accomplishments and feel blessed to have called him a friend.”
Estrin is survived by his wife Kari, daughters Charlotte and Chloe, and dogs Molly and Lt. Judy Hopps, in addition to mother Patricia, father Jonathan, sister Amelia Burstyn, stepbrother Dylan Arrants and stepsisters Julie List and Laura Humphrey.
