Leicester continued their disappointing run, after another huge defeat in Tottenham Hotspur. They remain number 20 in the league Table. Spurs have won each of their last six Premier League home games, their longest such run at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The match started after a minute’s silence took place beforehand in honor of Queen Elizabeth II. In the 5th minute, Hugo Lloris save Tieleman’s penalty, diving in the right direction to send the ball wide. After VAR checked the saved, they concluded that Lloris moved off his line too quickly. The referee ordered Tieleman to retake it and this time, he scores, putting Leicester in front.
Two minutes later, Harry Kane equalizes for the host, nodding the ball into the back of the bet from a Kulusevski cross. Kane has scored more goals against Leicester in all competitions than he has against any other side in his senior career (20).
Eric Dier makes it two for Tottenham from a corner, looping the ball over everyone else in the box and landing it in the far bottom corner. Both teams try to create opportunities and just before halftime, Dewsbury-Hall switched the play out to Castagne, and he gets the better of Sessegnon as he brings it down and played the cross into the middle. Maddison fired the volley on the turn, and it leaped out of Lloris’ reach and into the far side of the net, leveling the game.
In the 47th minute, Ndidi’s mistake cost Leicester a goal, as Bentancur collected the ball from him before going ahead to put a low shot past Ward, putting Tottenham in front again.
Son who came on as a substitute in the match scored the fourth goal for Tottenham in the 73rd minute, curling his shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Son scored again in the 84th minute after curling a pass from Harry Kane into the top left corner. Two minutes later, Son finished the match with a Hattrick just tapping the ball into the bottom corner. After 90 minutes of play, the host takes all the points and Leicester remains at the bottom.
