Even Ellen DeGeneres couldn’t avoid the cancellation sweep at HBO Max, if there was ever evidence that she isn’t as strong as she once was. Little Ellen, the animated series starring the late daytime anchor, was canceled before the start of Season 3, according to a story published on Wednesday by Deadline.
Ellen, a seven-year-old girl who is voiced by Laurel Emory, appears in the program. New episodes for the upcoming season, which was scheduled to debut in June, were finished by the producers. The definitive announcement on the show’s cancellation, however, was made in August.
Little Ellen was ordered in 2019. In September 2021, the first 10 episodes of the program were made available. In March 2022, the second season of the program debuted. Ellen DeGeneres easily sold the show.
One of CEO David Zaslav’s most astonishing decisions since the Warner Bros. Discovery merger was finalized in April was to cancel completed projects. Little Ellen cancelled is the most recent development, after the TBS programs The Big D and Chad.
Scooby and Batgirl! Both of the Holiday Haunts movies that Warner Bros. made for HBO Max were almost finished when they were canceled on Tuesday. While other HBO Max movies that were released months ago have mysteriously vanished, a House Party remake is currently in limbo.
