The price of Bitcoin slipped below $30,000, its lowest in the past two years.
According to reports, about 40% of Bitcoin holders are currently at a loss, though analysts also pointed out that the current market reality was part of its cycles that had played out in the past.
However, alt (alternate) coins seem to be the hardest hit and it is feared that some might not recover from the massive sellout.
Each time Bitcoin falls in price, it also affects the price of every other coin, and likewise, when it rises, they also appreciate in value. However, some of these altcoins might not fully recover before Bitcoin goes on another bearish run, dragging them further south.
When will the Cryptocurrency sellout end?
There seem not to be any specific time when the massive fall in the price of Bitcoin and other alt-coins will end. However, as with every cycle, there must be a place of rebound. So the question is if investors can keep on holding.
