Grand P made himself known to the public during a show organized by his idol Kerfalla Kanté at the people’s palace in Conakry.
During 2019 in Cairo, he supported the Guinean delegation with his performances.

Political Ambition
Grand P had wanted to become Guinea’s president, and tasked himself to restoring peace in the country if elected following the coup that removed President Alpha Condé in 2021. However, he could not get a sit among the 9 candidates that stood for the presidencial election in December 28, 2025.
In 2022, Grand P, also known as the “Godfather” of Guinean Music”, was appointed as Guniea Cultural AMbassador, and till recent times, he maintains ties with the ruling President, Mamadi Doumbouya.
