The banjo and tenor guitar player of the East Pointers musical group is dead.
The 37-year old departed at a time the musical trio was preparing for a world tour.
No detail concerning the singer’s cause of death has been reported.
The East Pointers music group was formed in 2014. The other two surviving team members are vocalist and fiddler Tim Chaisson and guitarist and keyboardist Jake Charron.
The band has three studio albums and some couple of recognition such as the Canadian Folk Music Award for Ensemble of the Year, and the Juno award for Traditional Roots Album of the Year.
