After numerous petitions, the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) has evaluated the case of the arrest of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, by Nigerian authorities from Kenya and his repatriation back to Nigeria for the continuation of trial.
The International Human Rights Commission(IHRC) came to the conclusion that the arrest and repatriation of Nnamdi Kanu are in order. It declared that Kenya had no role in the arrest of the IPOB leader and added that they would closely monitor the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, to ensure his human rights are not violated.
The conclusion was from the International Human Rights Commission(IHRC) based in Geneva. The organization was created with the purpose of safeguarding the rights of citizens all over the world in line with global standards.
