In the second round of semi-finalists, Denmark and England would be going against each other to secure the only remaining spot in the finals. The winner of this match would play against Italy in the finals who were able to scale past Spain on penalties to secure an opportunity to lift the Euro 2020 cup.
Denmark whose Euro 2020 journey has been tough, almost losing their star player and captain to a cardiac arrest on the field and also losing two matches in the group stages out of three. They were able to move to the round of 16, where they thumped Wales 4-1.
Denmark went through to the quarter-finals against the Czech Republic and got a slightly comfortable win over them at the end of the match. They have improved in every match, pressing their opponents with their hunger for goals.
England is one team packed with top players, so, they are favorites to win the champions league with their top victory which was beating Germany in the round of 16 to move to the quarter-finals. Both teams would battle for the final spot of the Euro 2020 cup which would be played at The Wembley Stadium in the United Kingdom, London on Wednesday, July 7th.
