South African bishop, Desmond Tutu, who is known for his anti-apartheid stand is dead.
Desmond’s loss was announced by the President of South Africa, Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa.
“The passing of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu is another chapter of bereavement in our nation’s farewell to a generation of outstanding South Africans who have bequeathed us a liberated South Africa,”
Desmond Tutu is known for his struggle to end racism between white and black South Africans.
