Mikel Arteta Initiates Another Man City Swoop To Bolster Arsenal For Title Challenge

mikel-arteta

Mikel Arteta has added more efforts to launch his fifth attempt to make Arsenal stronger by recruiting from Manchester City, as the club aims to gain an edge in the title race. The last two seasons have seen Arsenal become Manchester City’s strongest rival as the two struggled hard for the Premier League title, but Arsenal lost it.

In Arteta’s inability to defeat Manchester, the manager is now embracing the strategy of ‘if you can’t beat them, sign them.’ Arsenal is targeting Darren Rogerson, an elite development squad analyst from Manchester City, according to The Athletic.

Darren Rogerson will be joining Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this summer and will now work with Arteta’s first team early in the new campaign. His professional career journey includes stints with Sheffield United, Rangers, Derby, and the Manchester City under-18s before proceeding to the EDS.

Rogerson is just another City staff member and not the only member to move to Arsenal recently. Ben Chadwick is one of the City’s staff to become Arsenal’s head of analysis after doing the same role under Pep Guardiola.

Also, set-piece coach Nicolas Jover has made remarkable marks that have added to Arsenal’s success since going with Arteta to London from Manchester City.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, since joining Arsenal from Manchester City, has also encountered injury issues during his time with Arsenal.
