Monday marked the debut of the Denver Broncos‘ fresh uniform lineup, marking the team’s first significant redesign since 1997. Dubbed the “Mile High Collection,” the new ensemble boasts a versatile array of 10 uniform combinations, featuring four jerseys and three helmets.
Packed with nods to Colorado culture, the collection includes subtle references like the inclusion of “5280” on the helmet bumpers and a font reminiscent of national parks signage on the back nameplates. Additionally, a triangle label adorns the outer neck tag, drawing inspiration from summit markers.
Among the highlights is a throwback orange uniform paying homage to the iconic Orange Crush era, complete with the legacy blue “D” helmet, commemorating the Broncos’ inaugural Super Bowl appearance in 1977.
Former Broncos linebacker Randy Gradishar, set to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in July, featured prominently in the unveiling video alongside star cornerback Patrick Surtain II.
The remainder of the collection maintains the Broncos’ current helmet logo and color scheme, featuring sunset orange for home games, summit white for away games, and midnight navy for alternate games. Additionally, metallic satin helmets in navy and white are introduced for home, away, and alternate games, respectively.
“As we honor the championship tradition of the Broncos, we’re also committed to innovation and growth during such a transformative time in franchise history,” team president Damani Leech said. “Our new uniforms — the Mile High Collection — boldly integrate elements of our past, present and future while paying tribute to Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region we proudly call home.”
