Morgan Wallen has broken his silence regarding an incident that occurred at a Nashville bar earlier this month, resulting in his arrest.

The country singer currently faces multiple charges following his arrest on April 7, including three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, after he allegedly threw a chair off the rooftop of Eric Church’s six-story Chief’s Bar.

According to an arrest report, the chair landed dangerously close to where Metro Nashville police officers were stationed, with footage showing Wallen allegedly throwing the object while witnesses claimed he was laughing.

Despite the incident occurring during his One Night at a Time world tour, Wallen had remained silent until Friday evening when he finally addressed the issue in a post on his X account, stating, “Regarding my tour, there will be no change.”

The singer is scheduled to appear in Nashville court on May 3 to face his charges, coinciding with a planned performance at the city’s Nissan Stadium.

Although Wallen is a prominent figure in country music, this is not his first brush with controversy. In 2020, he faced charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct after being ejected from a Nashville bar. Additionally, in 2021, he faced backlash after a video surfaced of him using a racial slur, resulting in his suspension by his record label and removal from radio airplay.

Despite these controversies, Wallen has experienced significant success, with his third studio album “One Thing at a Time” spending a total of 19 weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 chart last year, and his single “Last Night” setting a record for the most weeks at No. 1 for any non-collaboration song.
