Prince Andrew’s continued fallout from his ties to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal seems to have manifested in another subtle royal snub.

Despite attending the Easter Mattins service at St. George’s Chapel alongside several senior royals, Buckingham Palace omitted photos of the Duke of York in social media posts recapping the holiday event.

The Palace accounts on Monday shared images of King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and his wife Sophie at the Windsor chapel gathering.

However, no pictures featured Prince Andrew, who was present with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson in her first appearance at the event since their divorce.

“The King and Queen, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and other members of the Royal Family attended the Easter Mattins Service at St George’s Chapel today,” read the caption accompanying the curated photos.

The snub seems to provide evidence of Andrew’s alienated status within the royal family since stepping back from public duties due to his controversial ties to convicted sex offender Epstein. Once a prominent working royal, he has been excluded from numerous major events like last year’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Andrew was joined by Ferguson and a small contingent of royals like Anne and Camilla, whose green outfits appeared coordinated with the Duchess of York’s ensemble. However, the slimmed-down nature of the Windsor gathering allowed him to be more easily isolated compared to larger royal events.

Noticeably absent were the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate, who remained at home with their three children to celebrate, according to PEOPLE. The King himself has also dialed back public engagements since his health issue emerged in February.

Despite the Easter service snub, Prince Andrew was accused of attempting to re-insert himself into a more prominent role at a memorial service for Greece’s late King Constantine last month. Royal sources claimed he “positioned himself as leader of the royal family” at that event with Charles sidelined.
