The championship fight between Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora could well be referred to as a one-sided fight in the favor of the former.

Despite a few hits from Chisora, Fury did well to defend his WBC Heavyweight title with good right hands and uppercuts which seemingly were constant throughout the fight.

The event which was held on Saturday at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium came to a stop after the referee, Victor Loughlin, ended the match a few moments into the 10th round.

He had earlier enquired from Derek Chisora’s coach, Don Charles, at the end ninth round, if he (Derek) was fit to continue with the fight, given his bodily state, which the trainer gave a thumbs up.

What The Fight Means For Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora

Starting with the victor, Tyson, his win over Chisora might not mean much. It’s probably a warmup to the upcoming main event, which is his heavyweight title fight with Oleksandr Usyk next year.

And for Derek Chisora, his humiliating defeat from Fury might mean the end of the road for him. Its probably time time the British boxer consider calling it quit in the ring, as not to ruin the strong-image he has with his fans. Or at best, he should avoid competing with the top shots in the game.
