Talented Americans Got Talent finalist, Zuri Craig has passed away, although no cause of death has been released yet.

In a post shared in a tribute posted to Craig’s official ZoReMi Entertainment page. They wrote:

“It is with profound sadness that we announce the transition of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Zuri Craig.”

“We thank you in advance for your prayers. Please honor our privacy at this unimaginable time of mourning.”

Gospel singer Le’Andria Johnson shared her own tribute to Craig, along with a photo of the pair, writing, “R.I.P. my love ?? @craigzuri.”

The family also announced that the official cause of death reports would be coming soon.

Zuri debuted on the 2015’s Americans got talent show, where he and his group blew away the audience with their performance.

Craig and his group also got the golden buzzer from Michael Bublé after their electrifying performance of Mary J. Blige’s “I’m Goin’ Down.”

While they didn’t take home the talent competition’s top prize, they finished 5th overall that season.

Aside from being a singer, Zuri was also an actor as he was featured in some of Tyler Perry’s play like Madea’s Big Happy FamilyMadea Gets a Job and A Madea Christmas.

He even appeared on the popular Oprah in the early 2010s with Perry for an additional interview.

Craig also featured on podcasts and other theatrical productions over the years, and was set to produce the stage play, Soul Food, in Atlanta next month.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
