Three popular Social Media platforms, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are not working worldwide.
The meltdown started Monday afternoon as all users of the platforms could not access their accounts.
Facebook confirmed the outage and assured users that they are working on it.
“We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience,” Facebook tweeted about 30 minutes after the first reports of the outage.
Service providers, MTN have sent messages to their customers to notify them about the outage.
