The international premiere of Olivia Wilde’s “Don’t Worry Darling” took place at the Venice International Film Festival on Monday night after much anticipation. In a shimmering off-the-shoulder Valentino, star Florence Pugh also made a big arrival on the Lido, stopping to chat with fans as she made her way down the carpet.
By the time the premiere was over, spectators rose to their feet and gave “Don’t Worry Darling” a five-minute standing ovation. Styles was also seen giving co-star Nick Kroll a big hug from the balcony.
Before the movie, hordes of screaming Harry Styles admirers crowded the red carpet’s borders in an effort to catch a glimpse of him. His enthusiastic response was in stark contrast to Friday’s Timothée Chalamet hysteria.

A report in the Hollywood newsletter Puck, citing various unnamed studio and production sources, added fuel to the fire of confusion regarding everything from Shia LaBeouf’s early exit from the movie to Pugh’s perceived lack of public support for the project on her social media accounts.
