Luke Bell: missing 32-year-old country star found dead

Luke Bell, a rising talent in country music, died at the age of 32 after going missing, according to reports, for more than a week. The tragic news was confirmed by Bell’s friend and fellow country musician Matt Kinman to the music blog Saving Country Music.

Bell was found dead in Tucson, Arizona, yesterday, not far from where he had been reported missing on August 20, according to the Tucson Police Department. Bell was born in Kentucky and raised in Wyoming.

The singer’s cause of death has not yet been determined, according to the authorities looking into the tragedy. A recent change in his medication, according to Kinman, may have “played a role” in his disappearance. Kinman revealed to the music blog the Boot that his friend had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

A brief history of Luke Bell

Luke Bell left the University of Wyoming and relocated to Austin, Texas to pursue a career in country music. Bell was born on January 27, 1990, in Lexington, Kentucky, and was raised in Cody, Wyoming. He frequently gave performances in saloons and honky-tonks throughout the capital of the Lone Star State before spending a brief amount of time in New Orleans, according to the Boot. Before arriving in Nashville, he travelled to Wyoming.

After being signed by Thirty Tigers in 2016, the honey-throated vagabond finally received his big break. Later that year, Bell published his self-titled album, which helped him gain widespread notoriety.

The country singer worked with artists like Alabama Shakes, Margo Price, and Langhorne Slim over his brief but significant career. He even performed as a support act for Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakam, and other country legends.
