“This will be your first loss,” Hasim Rahman Jr. To Jake Paul In August Fight

Hasim Rahman Jr. doesn’t seem impressed by Jake Paul’s undefeated boxing record, and he didn’t mince words expressing this.

“I’m here to end this facade he’s calling a career, so we’re going to see,” Rahman Jr. said. “We will (see). We’re going to see on Aug. 6 when Jake Paul falls. We’re definitely going to see that.”

Given the level of competition Paul has faced, Rahman Jr., the 31-year-old son of former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman, doesn’t place much value on Paul’s 5-0 record.

“You ain’t fought nobody, you ain’t fought nobody,” Rahman said to Paul on Tuesday. “Everyone you’ve fought have been their debut. I just fought somebody who was 20-0. (You fought) champions in MMA, NBA champions. No boxers, no boxers. This will be your first loss.”

On August 6 at Madison Square Garden in New York, Rahman Jr. will square off against Paul, 25, in a cruiserweight matchup.

He is adamant that he is the only legitimate boxer Paul, who has victories over Tyron Woodley, Nate Robinson, and Ben Askren, has ever faced.

The press conference on Tuesday featured several contentious exchanges, culminating in a tense confrontation between the two competitors.
