The Atlanta rapper, whose real name is Raqhid Render, collaborated on his recent album Trapped on Cleveland 3 in 2020 alongside Travis Scott, Young Thug, and Chris Brown.
‘Can’t believe I saw you die today bro I did all my cries I know what u want me to do and that’s going hard for Mama Daddy Our Brothers Naychur and Whiteboy,’ his brother wrote. (sic)
Lil Keed was supposed to play in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Saturday, according to his Instagram story.
He was the youngest of seven children and was signed to 300 Entertainment and Young Thug’s company, YSL (Young Stoner Life).
Young Thug was arrested and charged with gang-related offenses earlier this week, and Lil Keed stepped out in favor of the rapper.
He wrote at the time: ‘YSL is a family. YSL is a label. YSL is a way of life. YSL is a lifestyle. YSL is not a gang. YSL is not a criminal [organization]. YSL is not a street gang. YSL is not a mob.’
Lil Keed and Lil Gotit previously appeared on Lil Uzi Vert’s song Heavy Meta in 2018, which was also the year he launched his first two albums, Trapped on Cleveland 2 and Keed Talk To ‘Em.
