Crystal Palace now sits fourth in the Premier League table after a deserving 2-0 win at Molineux against Wolves, making it their first away victory in the last two months.
Rob Edwards, the new head coach of Wolves, became very unlucky as he endured a tough defeat in his first game as manager, as his side lost two goals in the second half.
The game, which had a tough draw, finally saw Daniel Munoz scoring the first goal before Yeremy Pino fired another to double Palace’s lead six minutes later, rewarding their dominance after they had different missed opportunities.
Wolves also did not relent, but their efforts did not pay off, as attempts by Joao Gomes and Ladislav Krejci were saved by the goalkeeper Dean Henderson, but they were unfortunate not to convert all their chances into goals, extending their poor start to the season.
The loss leaves Rob Edwards’ side at the bottom of the table and still trying so hard to secure their first local league victory of the season after trying 12 times.
Palace’s victory, meanwhile, pushes them to 20 points and strengthens their impressive early-season form under Oliver Glasner.
