American comedian and actor Tracy Morgan, a long-time Knicks fan has spoken up about his sudden illness during the Heat-Knicks game at Madison Square Garden that had him vomiting.
The actor suddenly threw up during the third quarter of the game, while the workers rushed to clear the mess around his seat. Video below:
The impromptu incident caused a 10-minute delay as the people around tried to make sure he was okay before they continued the match. Morgan went to the hospital to get checked and the diagnosis was food poisoning.
“I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning. Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!” Morgan wrote.
“More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs,” he joked.
Maybe Morgan’s little incident brought good luck after all as the Knicks went on to win the game 116-95.
This is not the first time Morgan has struggled with a health scare as he had to do a kidney transplant in 2010. His kidney had failed due to his nonchalance to his diabetes. His donor was his then-girlfriend Tanisha Hall.
Morgan was also involved in a fatal tractor-trailer accident in 2014 that gave him a traumatic brain injury. He was also down with a broken femur, a broken nose, and several broken ribs. Although it took a while to heal, the comedian got his groove back and has been doing well ever since.
