The devoted marital partner of popular country music star Dolly Parton, Carl Dean died on Monday the age of 82.
The information was made off by the publicist for his country’s music wife. He says Dead died in Nashville part of Tennessee and will be buried in a close party scheduled to be attended by immediate family.
“Carl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy,” Parton wrote in a statement.
While the announcement was made public, the family did not mention what led to Dean’s death and they have also asked for privacy from lovers and fans.
Dean met his wife, Parton when she was only 18 on the day she moved to Nashville outside the Wishy Washy Laundromat.
“I was surprised and delighted that while he talked to me, he looked at my face (a rare thing for me),” Parton described the meeting. “He seemed to be genuinely interested in finding out who I was and what I was about.”
They became husband and wife two years after first setting eyes on each other and married on Ringgold, Georgia.
While Dean was alive, he was known for engaging in businesses while he own an asphalt-paving company somewhere in Nashville.
