'Coin' Band Frontman, Lawrence Announces Disbandment Following New Revelations

Frontman of the Nashville Pop Rock band Coin, Chase Lawrence recently announced that the trio will no longer continue as a band after some disturbing revelations.

“I have recently become aware of revelations around my bandmates and want to share some thoughts directly with all of you,” Lawrence said.

“I believe in accountability and doing what’s right.”

This is coming just a few weeks after they announced the band was going on without drummer Ryan Winner, who had left the group due to personal issues, and now the group is over? One would wonder what went wrong.

“Three months ago, I made the decision to move forward without my drummer, and yesterday, I parted ways with my guitarist,” Lawrence said on social media.

“Their behaviors directly conflict with my values, and I am devastated for anyone who has been affected by these actions.”

“Creating a space for love & joy through music has always been my mission. Discovering that this space has been compromised by the actions of others is truly heartbreaking.”

While it’s great to see everyone putting themselves and their principles first, it’s sad to see one of Nashville’s great pop-rock bands grow apart.

Refunds for the upcoming tour are available at the point of purchase,” he noted. At least the fans did not lose everything.

“There’s a lot to figure out about the future, but I know I’m not done making music yet.”
