AC Milan, in an attempt to reorganize its team, recently replaced Paulo Fonseca as the team’s manager with Sérgio Conceição. Paulo Fonseca was sacked last Monday.
The new coach was off duty as he sat on the bench during the team’s 2-1 semifinal win on Friday against Juventus despite battling illness. AC Milan made an amazing comeback during the semi-final, which shows their readiness to conquer the final game against Inter Milan.
In a conquest against their rival who shares the same city as them, they led their opponent by two goals in the final, but Inter made a nice comeback that made the game 2-2.
A last-minute goal by Tammy Abraham gave AC Milan the victory, as the goal disrupted the belief that the game will end in extra time and will require penalty kicks.
The new head coach, Sérgio Conceição, will lead the team to their first local match under him at home on Saturday against Cagliari.
