Unidentified Drones Sighted Over Sensitive Areas In Germany

German security authorities in a new report and seen by Spiegel magazine claimed that some unidentified drones have been sighted flying over sensitive industrial locations that includes the U.S. air base at Ramstein, Germany.

This report claimed that there were multiple drones that were seen on the evening of both December 3 and 4 over the Ramstein air base.

Sources among the security structure confirmed the news of the unidentified drones flying over sensitive areas to the Reuters, while the defense minister in Germany refused to say anything about it.

Leaders within the Germany intelligence has advised that the country’s standing with Ukraine in its war against Russia could make Germany a target for sabotage. The recent security awareness around military facilities has led to fears among the citizens of the country.

Spiegel included in their report that there was drone activity around sites that belongs to a German arms manufacturer, Rheinmetall, including a major chemicals group, BASF.

The major chemicals group reiterated its continuous effort in protecting the site and collaboration with security circle in paying attention to suspicious activities.

Rheinmetall has decided to keep mute while it is also yet to respond to requests for their comment on the drone sighting. The strange flying of drones over sensitive places have led to more security concerns in the region.
