Popular Actress Jill Jacobson Dies At Age 70

Actress Jill Jacobson, who was well known for her involvement in the popular “Falcon Crest” and “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” died at the age of 70 years old on December 8 at Cedars-Sinai Culver West Health Center after her long battle with sickness.

The actress had a long battle with esophageal cancer for more than two years, as she mentioned in an interview that she featured in September.

Jacobson was appreciated for her advocacy role, being a great spokesperson for the American Cancer Society.

The actress ventured into movie production, and her career in Hollywood began in 1977, when she featured in a cult horror movie, Nurse Sherri. She also played an important role in popular series that include Newhart, Murphy Brown, Days of Our Lives, and Who’s the Boss?

The people who love and appreciate her role in Star Trek: The Next Generation, released in 1989, and Deep Space Nine in 1996, will not forget her in a short time.

She was opportuned to get a recurring role in both “Falcon Crest (1985-1987)” and “The New Gidget (1986-1987).”
