Golden State Warriors Struggle Without Curry And Green As They Lost Against Clippers

The Golden State Warriors hardly survived against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday. The team fell 102-97 to their opponent at Intuit Dome without key players like Draymond Green and Stephen Curry.

This game was the first time that Stephen Curry will be resting since December 5, and Green was not put on the roster because of a lower back contusion.

The offense of the Warriors finds it very difficult despite a great effort from Jonathan Kuminga, who did not stop improving. The team talked to close the gap to 91-88 after a three-pointer with 2:30 remaining from Moses Moody. They are down 19 going into the fourth quarter.

Despite the challenge and efforts to close the gap, Warriors’ scoring stalled, and the Los Angeles Clippers won the game.

The Warriors’ offensive challenge was obvious to see, as four players, including Kuminga and Andrew Wiggins, missed seven shots per player. Lindy Waters could not score at least one in more than 16 minutes of okay. Despite the loss, Steve Kerr, the Warriors head coach, commended the team’s defensive effort in the fourth quarter, a good takeaway in an otherwise challenging game.

The Warriors are currently 4-2 without key player Stephen this season and must continue to adapt, as both Green and Curry may continue on their road to recovery.
